At Travelography we don't pretend to be able to save the planet for you. Neither do we pretend that we are not to blame for our carbon footprint or the waste that we generate. However...

What we do...

We believe that each and every company should look at Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and work out what they can do to put back in to the local and global community that they effect.

At Travelography we don't get involved in green wash. To us CSR simply means taking a responsible attitude towards the protection of our planet and treating the people and communities that we work with, honestly and openly. So here is a simple list of what our CSR involves:

We believe that every company has a part to play in their local community and therefore we do our best to make sure that:

  1. Our local community is not effected negatively by what we do.
  2. We find ways to put back into our community wherever we can.

We believe that we are responsible for the waste that Travelography produce, so we make sure that:

  1. Our office is as paperless as possible.
  2. We recycle every product that recycling plants will accept.
  3. We don't throw things away that aren't broken (but we do give things away to others in our community).
  4. We use energy efficient lighting.
  5. We switch off our computers and all other electrical equipment at night.

We believe that our customers, suppliers and employees interests are more important than larger, greedier profit margins, so we make sure that:

  1. We act honestly and supportively for everyone involved with our business.
  2. We act in the interests of all parties involved with our business whenever we make financial or policy decisions.
  3. We're not perfect, so we acknowledge when there is a problem and resolve it as quickly as possible.
  4. We treat people in the way that we would like to be treated ourselves.
  5. We continually look for new ways of improving our service and processes to aid all parties.
